It's 10 p.m. and someone has a question. She answers.
This is Sofia, Gomio's receptionist. She picks up at any hour, answers questions about our services, notes who talked to her and why, and records the contact so a person can get back to them when it takes a person. Talk to her now and see, on the right, what she decided and why. Because the AI isn't the one deciding: a rule we wrote is, and you can read it.
US numbers only. From other countries it's an international call your carrier may block or charge for: talk to her in the browser instead. A call's decisions don't show up on this page.
Pick something to say to Sofia.
Each option below is a real case, tested automatically every time we change the system. What shows up on the right is what she actually decided, not a page animation.
Or pick a ready-made line. Each one is a real case, and the refusals are what Gomio doesn't sell, no matter how hard you push.
Nothing decided yet.
Every decision that shows up here says which rule produced it, what it cost and how sure the agent was. None of them was made by the AI.
They all cost zero: deciding doesn't go through the AI, and what doesn't go through it doesn't spend anything. What costs money is the sentence Sofia says afterward, and that's voice, not decision.
What happens between you speaking and her answering
Four pieces take part in a conversation. Only one is allowed to decide anything, and it isn't the AI. That's what makes today's answer the same as tomorrow's.
The rule decides on its own. Whether it's within business hours, what she won't answer, whether the phone number you gave is valid, what the next question is: all of it comes from a rule written by people. The same question gets the same answer today and a year from now.
The AI only picks the words. It gets the decision already made and puts the sentence together. If it goes down, gets expensive or makes things up, what your company agrees to do stays the same.
What it means for your money
When the AI decides
- The same question gets different answers on different days.
- Ask for a discount nicely enough and sometimes you get it. The instruction not to give prices is text, and text can be negotiated.
- Switching AI providers means rewriting and retesting everything.
- Checking means reading transcripts and hoping.
When your rule decides
- The same question always gets the same answer. If one day it doesn't, our tests break before it reaches you.
- Pushing won't get you a fixed price. The rule is a condition checked before the sentence exists, not a request to behave.
- Switching AI providers changes how the sentence sounds, not what your company agrees to do.
- Checking means opening the record and reading which rule decided what, with the cost of each one next to it.
The rules behind what you just saw
This isn't a sample list. It's the set that produced the decisions you just saw, read from the same file Sofia uses to answer. The ones marked Gomio's call change in a file, with no reprogramming. The built-in ones protect the product, and no client can turn them off.
Besides these, she also checked each piece of information you gave (name, phone, reason) to see if it was a valid value. Those checks are all alike, and repeating them here would only pad the table; they show up one by one in the conversation record.
What you say isn't stored
Instead of your sentence, we keep only a fingerprint of it: a code that can't be read back. It lets us prove, later, that it was that sentence that produced that decision; it doesn't let anyone find out what you said. This page is public, and that choice was made before the page existed.

The first step is the Automation Diagnostic: we open up your systems and test, for real, whether the conversation can become a record in them. It's a fixed-price first step, credited toward the project if you sign within 30 days.
